There's only 16 days left until my birthday. My family still hasn't quite figured out the whole owl thing so I've already started getting presents ^_^ My little brother sent me a new game. Well, it's one he's played but I haven't and that's the important part. My 3ds needs to be charged though. I stayed up late the other night and its battery died.

Sooooo, I'm thinking of getting into the muggle studies lab this weekend. My awesome roomie and any other people, want in? I'm hoping maybe my sister will come through and send some movies again so if she does, that's the plan.

About the history homework. Is the teacher being serious? Again, it all reads like something out of a storybook.

Summer was too short. I mean, it’s always short but come on. We should have at least another month or two. I was just about to beat the boss in my game but now I gotta leave that until the next break. Not fair, school, not fair. I mean, I've got the handheld but it sucks trying to get that thing charged out here. Shouldn't games be allowed under Muggle Studies or something? I mean, I'm studying the culture by participating. That should count for something.

Does anyone else understand the stuff on page 84 of the history homework? I’ve been trying to read it all summer but it all just keeps coming off as a bunch of nonsense. Seriously, it feels like I’m reading a bunch of stuff that should be in a book, not school-work.

At least it looks like there might be a potion in this year's book that's about changing body parts. Wonder if I can figure out how to tweak it to grow some wings...
